Vassar Artists' Group
Vassar Artists' Group (VAG) is Vassar's student-led studio art club. VAG provides space, supplies, and offers exhibition opportunities across campus.
History
The Vassar Artists' Guild was founded in Spring 2023.[1][2] The stated intent was to provide "a space for artistic expression, exchange, community building, and growth," independent of the Studio Art Department.[1] The group was renamed to "Vassar Artists' Group" in the Fall 2023 semester.[3]
The group hosted their first exhibition, the Deece Beauty Project,[4] in April 2023. Since then, the Deece has served as a regular location for biannual VAG exhibitions.
