VTree, officially Vassar Team for Restoration and Ecological Engagement, is an environmental org on campus. It was founded in 2025 and is currently registered as a pre-org with the VSA. Following unauthorized tree removals by grounds in October of 2025, VTree worked with SEED to lead the opposition, resulting in the codification of a new Tree Removal Policy.[1] Since 2026, VTree has held a seat on the Arboretum Committee.[2] It has organized vine removal events and has planted 118 trees on Campus in the spring of 2026, primarily along the Casperkill creek.
