User pages are free space for contributors to include whatever they wish (within reason). Unlike other pages, user pages can only be edited by the relevant individual.

You can put pretty much anything on your user page (e.g. interests, projects, org memberships, essays or freeform content, contact information).

Making a user page

To create your user page, click here! Alternatively, click your linked username in the top-right hand corner of the top menu, or type your username with the prefix "User:" in the desktop search box and click the red link.

To create a subpage in your user space, type your username with the "User:" prefix, followed by a slash and your desired subpage name (e.g. User:EdwardNWM/Vassar needs a wiki) in the desktop search box, then click the red link.

Userboxes

Userboxes are templates that make it easy to briefly communicate information about yourself.

Making a userbox

If you want to make a userbox of your own, you should use the meta-template Template:Userbox.
